About the role
The Dialysis Registered Nurse at PAM Health is responsible for:
- Utilizing the nursing process
- Delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients
- Interdisciplinary planning
- Discharge planning
- Patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
- Accessing community resources
- Oversight of dialysis treatments required by patients with kidney failure
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care
- Oversight of dialysis treatments
Requirements
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification (initially required, then required after 90 days of employment)
- ACLS certification is required from day 1 for certain positions (Charge Nurses, High Obs, ICU)
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required
