Primary Job Responsibilities

• Coverage of all aspects of patient care, including comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, educating patients and families, collaborating with medical staff and ancillary departments, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensuring effective communication and teamwork among healthcare providers.
• Maintaining patient safety and quality of care by monitoring for adverse reactions and revising care plans as necessary.

• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG competency
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
• Use of high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses And Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
