Registered Nurse (RN) CVOR Open Heart Team $50K Sign On

Position Overview

Christiana Hospital is seeking a highly competent, experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with specialized Open Heart (CVOR) experience to join their distinguished cardiovascular surgical team.

The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, sound judgment, accountability, and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, evidence-based intraoperative nursing care for complex open-heart surgical procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons and surgical teams to facilitate safe, efficient operations
• Ensure adherence to sterile technique, clinical standards, and best practices in cardiac surgery
• Support patients and their families with professionalism, compassion, and clear communication
• Participate in scheduled Open-Heart Call and demonstrate flexibility to support Mid shifts as needed

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or Commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience
• Current RN licensure required
• Three years or more Operating Room experience required
• Two-Three years of Open-Heart Team circulating and scrubbing experience

Pay & Bonus

• Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05
• Eligible candidates with verified CVOR experience may qualify for a $50,000 sign-on bonus, paid over a 24-month period
