Registered Nurse RN CVOR Full Time Days

About the role

Applies knowledge and skills pertaining to all diagnoses, procedures, medications, complications, and equipment associated with unit patient population.

Adheres to all pertinent regulatory standards, follows strict infection prevention precautions, and ensures medication safety.

Responsibilities

• Manages supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper functioning.
• Promotes an exceptional patient experience through effective communication with patients, families, and visitors, including hourly rounding.
• Utilizes appropriate techniques, verbiage, and resources in all interactions with patients to their level of understanding.
• Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team, completing thorough hand-off communication in all situations.

Requirements

• Able to learn and apply computer-related applications and programs, including using electronic keyboards and other peripheral devices.
• Able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and local, state, and national laws.
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit.
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• EKG.
• Additional language (preferred).
• Customer Relations (required).

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing (required).
• Bachelor's of Nursing (preferred).

Work Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience (required).

Licenses And Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) (required).
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (required).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) (required).
