About the role

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age‑appropriate care for patients on the assigned unit.
• Apply principles of growth and development across the life span; assess patient data, interpret information, and identify age‑specific needs.
• Develop, modify, and implement the plan of care per HHS standards and Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Requirements

• Completion of a state‑approved Registered Nurse Program.
• Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certified.
