Where You Will Work
CICU 8S is a 24-bed high-acuity unit on the 8th floor of the Garden Tower at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The unit cares for critically ill cardiac and interventional cardiac patients, including diagnoses such as acute MI, cardiogenic shock, dysrhythmias, multisystem organ failure, pre-heart transplant, complex pre- and post-stent, valvuloplasty, TAVR, and complex medical patients.

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Strong interest and passion for cardiac care
- Commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth
- 1+ year Acute Care RN experience
Responsibilities
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication, you will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Pay
- Night Shift Differential: $5/hr
- Weekend Differential: $4/hr
