Position Highlights
The pay range for this position is $34.50 - $51.50 per hour. Actual pay rate is dependent upon experience.
What You Will Do
- Oversees the flow of patients from outlying facilities and clinics to ensure efficient and seamless entry into the facility.
- Prioritizes and places patients in the appropriate regional sites by using critical thinking skills and following department policies and guidelines.
- Works as a liaison with bed placement coordinator to ensure timely transfer of patients.
- Evaluates the transfer center process toward attainment of the outcomes.
- Collaborates with physicians and nurses as well as health care providers, including specialists, in assessing patient placement.
- Utilizes research/evidence-based findings in practice if appropriate.
- Recognizes the need for knowledge and skills sufficient to integrate the use of healthcare technology and/or information management systems.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
