Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator Neurosurgery NEW

UP Health System - Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator for the Neurosurgery department. This exempt/salaried position offers a Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

As an RN Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping the future of care across the Upper Peninsula. You’ll work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment at UPHSM Brain & Spine, where clinical excellence and compassionate care are prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff scheduling, educational and development activities, and performance evaluations.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.
• Perform quality assurance studies and assist with implementation of QA/QI initiatives.
• Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts on patient care, patient flow, and clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements.

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
• 4 years of healthcare experience.
