Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator - Endoscopy

About the Role

Under the direction of the director, you will assume a leadership role in the overall functioning of the unit. As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and facilitate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, patient flow, staffing, resource utilization, and problem solving. You will assist the director in monitoring and evaluating staff performance based on established standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff in applying the nursing process in the management of patients with complex needs
• Assists in identifying educational needs of the unit staff and works collaboratively with the Professional Practice Department
• Anticipates and solves patient clinical and customer service needs while addressing long-term solutions
• Facilitates communication and collaboration with co-workers, other disciplines, and other departments in identifying customer service needs
• Coordinates unit-based staffing assignments on a shift basis to achieve high-quality and cost-effective care
• Performs related duties as required

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing (required)
• 3-5 years of Emergency Department Nursing experience (required)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (required)
• BSN (preferred)

Pay

$39.53 - $75.00 per hour. Individual wages are determined based upon qualifications and experience.
