About the role
Perform a variety of cardiovascular procedures under medical supervision, rotating through roles such as scrub, monitor, and circulator.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and operate hemodynamic devices
- Administer medications and develop individualized care plans
- Implement timely interventions and ensure sterile techniques
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Delegate tasks and coordinate team activities
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Contribute to staff orientation and foster a positive work environment
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Five years of healthcare experience
- Five years of Cath Lab scrub experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular patient care, medications, and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- BSN preferred
- RCIS certification preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
