Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiopulmonary

About the role

Provides and maintains quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures through education, standards of practice, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients continuously and documenting findings
• Developing and adjusting educational plans based on patient condition
• Performing patient interventions with age-specific competency
• Verifying orders, scheduling tests, and managing pre-op data
• Following medication and IV therapy policies, including patient identification and medication administration
• Monitoring first-dose medications and recognizing adverse reactions
• Interpreting diagnostic data and notifying physicians of critical values
• Performing related duties as needed

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• At least one year of RN experience
• Valid Multi-State RN License or eligibility to obtain one
• American Heart Association BLS CPR (within 7 days of hire) and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical Care or Emergency Department background
