Registered Nurse - RN - Cardiac ICU

Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions
- Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Empathetically cares for patients at all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (e.g., AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications

Pay & Schedule
The salary range is $34.00 - $48.00 per hour. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.
Department Details
The 16-bed Cardiac ICU provides specialized care for patients with complex cardiovascular needs. The unit manages individuals recovering from TAVR procedures, post-operative CABG surgeries, STEMI/NSTEMI, and those requiring mechanical circulatory support such as balloon pumps and Impella devices. The team also cares for patients following cardiac arrest, focusing on advanced hemodynamic monitoring and comprehensive post-interventional management.
