Registered Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheter Lab - Full Time Day

RN-Cath Lab positions at Community Medical Center are available.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer individualized age specific professional care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary intervention, peripheral angiograms and interventions, permanent pacemaker procedures, and neurological angiograms and interventions.
• Provides nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures of the hospital and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintains the standards of nursing care as established.
• Participates in patient teaching.
• Participates in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities.
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment.
• On call component with 30 minute response time required.
• On call for weekends and holidays required.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least two years of critical care nursing experience.
• Currently registered professional nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• A completed BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider ACLS course.
• Completion of Intravenous Therapy course at Community Medical Center.
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: At least two years of critical care nursing experience.
• Licensure: Currently registered professional nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• Certifications: BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider ACLS course completion status, Completion of Intravenous Therapy course at Community Medical Center.
