About the role
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab to perform specialized cardiovascular nursing duties.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through roles: scrub, monitor, and circulator in the Cath Lab.
- Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Operate hemodynamic monitoring devices and assist with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures under physician supervision.
- Administer medications safely, reassess patient progress, and ensure aseptic techniques in the lab environment.
- Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and support a collaborative team environment.
- Delegate and coordinate care activities, ensure quality standards, and contribute to staff orientation and unit development.
Qualifications
- California RN license with at least five years of healthcare experience and five years of Cath Lab scrub experience (preferred).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Extensive cardiovascular knowledge, including medications and procedures.
- BSN and RCIS certification are advantageous.
This role offers a sign-on bonus, full-time hours, and requires participation in STEMI call and some weekend shifts.
