Registered Nurse (RN) Bayshore Gardens Emergency Department Full Time Weekend Only Nights
Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services — including robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System, a weight-loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women’s and children’s services. Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Promote and provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
- Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care.
- Communicate with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs.
- Administer IVs and medications to aid in patient health.
- Use medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
- Current ER experience.
- Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Florida.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
- Current PALS through American Heart Association.
- Current TNCC Certification.
- Current NIH Stroke Certification.
- CPI required within 6 months of hire.
Schedule
Full-time weekend only nights position at the Bayshore Gardens Free-Standing Emergency Department. Schedule options: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
