Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the development, implementation, and modification of the comprehensive plan of care for facility residents and providing independent supervision and delivery of care to residents in the nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements individual care plans for patients.
• Absesses residents' needs.
• Makes decisions regarding the quality and effectiveness of nursing care.
• Provides direct patient care.
• Assists physicians during procedures.
• Coordinates the activities of the nursing staff.
• Documents resident progress and communicates with other healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in practicing state.
• Ability to assess residents' needs.
• Skilled in developing individual care plans for patients.
• A passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
• Ability to follow state and Federal rules and regulations which govern the practices within the facility.
