About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality clinical care and acts as a Team Leader for patient care staff.
Responsibilities
- Leading care teams to administer medications and treatments
- Documenting care
- Educating families
- Participating in care planning and conferences
- Utilizing the nursing process to ensure seamless care from admission to discharge
- Regularly observing residents' physical and emotional health and notifying appropriate personnel of any changes
- Initiating lifesaving measures in emergency situations in the absence of a physician
- Performing administrative tasks such as charting and reporting
Qualifications
- Current, valid state RN license
- CPR certification
