The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team, adhering to nursing standards and organizational policies. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based practices, the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, and shared governance.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity
• Partner with patients and families
• Coordinate safe care delivery
• Support performance improvement initiatives
• Serve as preceptors or mentors
• Promote evidence-based practice and research
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards
• Participate in data collection and protocol development
• Optimize resource use

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state)
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
