About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct clinical care and serving as a Team Leader for patient care staff.
Responsibilities
- Leading care teams to ensure proper medication administration, documentation, family education, and care planning in compliance with policies.
- Applying the nursing process to deliver continuous patient care from admission to discharge.
- Conducting daily resident assessments to monitor physical and emotional health, and reporting changes to appropriate staff.
- Identifying urgent issues and initiating lifesaving measures when necessary in the absence of a physician.
- Completing administrative tasks such as medical forms, reports, and charting.
Qualifications
- Current, valid state RN license.
- CPR certification.
