About the role
Park Rose Care Center is a dynamic, fast-paced skilled nursing facility (SNF) where registered nurses (RNs) can utilize their skills to provide quality care to a diverse patient population. The role involves using nursing services, training and supervising staff, and ensuring the well-being of residents through various activities.
Responsibilities
- Medication assistance and administration
- Nursing services
- Training and supervising staff
- All aspects of resident care including ADLs, environmental orientation, and treatments
- Encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
- Ensuring compliance with infection control and safety procedures
- Reviewing and updating resident care documentation
- Evaluating health emergencies and implementing medical measures within the RN scope of practice and state regulations
Requirements
You must possess a current RN license in good standing. New graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for providing compassionate care to seniors. Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy units is preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to resident-centered care are essential.
