Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

Children's Recovery Center is seeking compassionate nurses to assist teenagers recovering from mental health and substance addiction issues. Registered nurses, supervised by the Director of Nursing, perform physical assessments, implement treatment plans, monitor residents, document care, assess physical restraints, administer medications, and educate residents and families on health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical assessments
• Implement and evaluate treatment plans
• Evaluate residents' responses to treatment
• Document care according to standards
• Perform physical restraint assessments
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Provide health care education to residents and families
• Supervise Mental Health Techs and LPNs to ensure resident safety

Requirements

• Registered Nurse I: Associate degree in nursing and Oklahoma RN license
• Registered Nurse II: Bachelor's degree in nursing and Oklahoma RN license OR Associate degree in nursing and one year of nursing experience OR Associate degree in nursing and two years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Registered Nurse III: Bachelor's degree in nursing and Oklahoma RN license OR Associate degree in nursing and two years of nursing experience OR Associate degree in nursing and three years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Unrestricted Oklahoma RN license
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse I: Associate in nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Registered Nurse II: Bachelor’s in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) OR Associate in Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience OR Associate in Nursing and two years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing.
• Registered Nurse III: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and possession of a valid, permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; or an Associate Degree in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience; or an Associate Degree in Nursing and three years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing.

Pay

• Registered Nurse I: $70,000 annually ($33.65/hour)
• Registered Nurse II: $72,500 annually ($34.86/hour)
• Registered Nurse III: $76,500 annually ($36.78/hour)

Schedule

• Full-time (12-hour shifts)
• Night Shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am)

Additional Information

This agency requires coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week. Work hours and location may vary depending on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
