Registered Nurse (RN)
What You’ll Do
Administering medications and monitoring vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
Developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed.
Monitoring chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions.
Maintaining comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols.
Collaborating with BHS regarding medication management and refills.
Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care.
Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree;
Licensure: Current RN licensure with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing is a must.
Experience
Ideally, you bring previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with adolescents and/or young adults.
Communication Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make sound judgment calls in high-pressure scenarios.
Team Player
A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment.
Tech-Savvy
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team in emergent situations.
