What You’ll Do Registered Nurses at Newport Healthcare provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and/or young adults in our treatment. Key responsibilities include: Completing client health screenings and providing direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring any chronic health conditionsEvaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents during on-site hours and relaying information to the appropriate NP/MDServing as a vital part of your patients’ multidisciplinary treatment teamsAdministering medications and ordering medication refillsComplying with all policies and procedures, e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations What Makes You a Great Fit Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state where you are applying (required)Experience in residential nursing (preferred, not required)Ability to make good decisions based your analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgmentA compassionate, patient-first mindset that supports you to reach the highest standards in delivery of careCultural competency and sensitivity to patients’ unique experience and backgroundsThe capacity to multitask and to remain calm and organized, even when under pressure or in stressful situationsMinimum age is 21 years old, as a requirement for employment. Additional Details Shift Availability: We currently have openings for part-time positions in the AM or PM, as well as one full-time PM position. These are 12-hour shifts with shift differentials.
