A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse (RN)

You play a vital role in our clinic. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose!

• Maintain careful monitoring of residents' condition and needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed, monitor for side effects, and report any changes in residents' condition.
• Oversight of nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure resident care plans are followed.
• Complete documentation and manage admission and discharge processes.
• Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect found during care.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations and facility policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification.
• Confidentiality and compliance with HIPPA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.
• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing (preferred but not required).
• Trustworthy and respectful of others.
• Dependable, professional, and a team player.
• Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with others.

Work Schedule

This full-time health care position works 12-hour shifts.
