About the Role

Majestic Care Registered Nurses provide skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing, supporting medical care as directed by the nursing management team. RNs supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality care for all residents in the unit.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents’ conditions and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents, documenting as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of the state-specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active, valid, and in-good-standing RN license in the state of employment.
• Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.
