Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition and document observations in the clinical record.
• Administer treatments and medications according to the State Nurse Practice Act and the care plan.
• Teach clients appropriate self-care techniques.
• Notify supervisors, case managers, physicians, or families of any changes in the client’s condition.
• Communicate potential risk management issues and report abuse or illegal practice as required by law.
• Work effectively with the client, family, and health care team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensed as a RN in the state of practice.
• CPR certification (we offer classes if needed).
• Experience in home care or home health preferred.
• Ability to provide nursing care in the home environment.
• Appropriate documentation skills.
• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
