Registered Nurse - RN

About the role

Norton County Hospital has a full-time career opportunity for an RN to join their healthcare team. This position is 12-hour night shifts, with rotating weekends and holiday schedule. The role involves working with acute, skilled and intermediate levels of patient care as well as in labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support skills as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Kansas.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Intermediate Life Support (ILS) certification preferred.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in computer systems and electronic medical records.
