Registered Nurse - RN

Role Overview: The Home Therapies RN CAP 1 is an entry-level registered nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing home dialysis. Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor treatment responses; educate patients and families on dialysis modalities; administer medications; manage emergencies; collect and analyze dialysis data; coordinate home environment assessments; train patients and partners on equipment use; and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current state licensure; CPR/BLS certification; minimum 1-year RN experience (preferably in nephrology or home dialysis). Entry-level RNs with less than 2 years of nephrology experience are eligible. Strong communication, assessment, and teaching skills are essential. Additional Duties: Supervise and support team members; ensure compliance with policies and regulations; perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment; participate in on-call rotations; and travel as needed. Physical & Work Environment: Involves heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and exposure to healthcare hazards. Work may occur in clinics, hospitals, or patient homes. Compensation & Benefits: Hourly rate $37.00 - $63.00, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave. Bonuses may be available based on performance.
