About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) oversees and coordinates resident care during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans to deliver high-quality, safe care. The RN supervises licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other team members, supporting continuity of care and serving as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Plan and assign work based on resident needs and staffing levels
- Manage staffing logistics
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Oversee unit operations in the absence of higher management
Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- CPR certification
- 1–2 years of experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred
