About the Role
Serves our dialysis patients and helps manage clinical teams at the Grand Forks Dialysis Center.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and performs direct patient care including vital signs, dialysis, documentation, physical assessments, and medication administration.
- Provides dialysis therapy, formulates plans, administers treatments, and documents activities.
- Analyzes patient assessments, laboratory data, and reports concerns to supervisors.
- Affirms patient learning readiness and educates on renal disease, treatment, and medical regimen.
- Develops and implements patient care plans and updates progress notes.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of RN experience.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; B.S.N or three-year diploma may substitute.
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg units is helpful but not required.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is preferred.
