Responsibilities
- Develops and implements individualized nursing care plans to meet the needs of residents under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
- Assists in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel, and attends to the daily operations of the unit per shift.
- Assists in the assessment and care of residents, supervising and coordinating nursing personnel in providing direct resident care.
- Communicates with physicians, ensures orders are taken correctly, and participates in the training and supervision of nursing personnel.
- Manages conflict through effective problem-solving and communication skills, and acts calmly and efficiently in handling emergency situations.
- Prepares daily assignments of duties, treatments, and miscellaneous tasks.
