About the role

The Congregation of Holy Cross in Notre Dame, IN is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide care and support to their residents at Holy Cross House.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents in a clean, bright facility
• Learn and understand the needs of residents, offering interaction in a loving and caring manner
• Notice and address the needs of residents for medical, nutritional, emotional, and/or spiritual care
• Offer nursing care with compassion, attentiveness, and consistency
• Maintain confidentiality and follow work instructions accurately and safely
• Remain calm under pressure and offer leadership to the nursing team
• Communicate proactively and maintain a positive attitude

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from a certified nursing program and 1-3 years relevant experience
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Indiana
• Current and valid CPR certification
• Experience with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting up to 25 pounds

Benefits

• Competitive starting base pay range of $35.00 to $45.00/hr, plus shift incentive bonuses for 2nd shift

Work Schedule

This nursing position has 1 shift option available. The 2nd shift runs Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 11 pm. The position also alternates every other weekend and holiday.
