Responsibilities

• Meet and maintain all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
• Provide triage services to assess patient needs and evaluate symptoms.
• Generate, decipher, and correct medical documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by healthcare providers, monitor for side effects, and provide patient education.
• Coordinate health services, including vaccinations and medication management.
• Conduct health assessments and document findings accurately.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ensure all treatment orders are carried out as directed.
• Communicate with other medical staff and report findings concerning patient health and well-being.
• Implement and adhere to Compass Connections safety protocols during emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality of health records and information according to HIPAA and Compass Connections protocols.
• Address other job duties as assigned or for unforeseen matters requiring attention.

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug tests throughout employment.
• Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
• Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and maintain professional people skills.
• Must have a current physical-medical release and proof of immunizations.
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as walking, stretching, and bending.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be able to receive an annual Influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption as a medical or religious accommodation.
