Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating resident care to ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant services. They supervise licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other staff, assigning and adjusting work based on resident needs and staffing levels. The RN develops, implements, and evaluates care plans, serving as a key resource for residents, families, and team members. They also handle staffing logistics, perform performance evaluations, and oversee unit operations in the absence of higher management, using independent judgment within legal and policy guidelines.
