We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a client location in Vestal, NY.
About the role
Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies, supervise CNAs on assigned units, and work every other weekend as requested by the center.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform medication passes accurately and safely
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Supervise CNAs on assigned units
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license (no license hits allowed; proof required at submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience; recent rehab, med-surg, or hospital experience also accepted
- Must pass a medication administration (med pass) test and clinical observation
- Strong attendance and punctuality; dependable with consistent attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with scheduling needs
- Experience with Alzheimer’s & Dementia patient populations
- BLS certification required
- Driver’s license or SSN mandatory at time of submission
- Must provide ample notice (more than 24 hours) for any call-outs
- RTO (Return-to-Office) approval required at time of submission; no retroactive approvals
- Cannot take every holiday off

Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week (7 RN positions)
- Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week (4 RN positions)
- Every other weekend required upon center request
- 3 days of orientation required
