Registered Nurse RN

Avalon Healthcare Bellingham is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for PRN shifts.

Responsibilities

• Independently supervise the delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit.
• Assess resident needs and develop individual care plans.
• Administer and evaluate nursing care.
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel in delivering nursing care.

Requirements

• Current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Demonstrated RN clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet job requirements.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for quality care.
• Capability to research and incorporate new methods and principles into existing nursing practices.
• Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
• Proven written and oral communication skills.
• Proven decision-making and analytical skills.
• Must pass a criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation (vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption).

Pay

$46.50 - $51.05 per hour.
