About the Role

Assumes responsibility to lead a team in providing quality patient care. Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and performs in accordance with the philosophy, established policies, procedures, and standards of the Nursing Division and the Hospital. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from admission to discharge.

Able to effectively monitor and dose anticoagulants, including both oral and injectable. Responsible for directing, assigning, and supervising ancillary staff team members to provide the appropriate level of care in the most efficient manner. Acts as a role model to staff members and effectively manages the team work concept while remaining flexible in response to changes.

This position provides summer and leave-of-absence (LOA) coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in delivering quality patient care.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from admission to discharge.
  • Monitor and dose anticoagulants (oral and injectable).
  • Direct, assign, and supervise ancillary staff to ensure efficient care delivery.
  • Act as a role model and manage team dynamics effectively.
  • Remain flexible and adapt to changes in the work environment.

Pay

Base hourly wage range: $37.00 - $84.71. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, and compensation is governed by its terms.

Beth Israel Lahey Health requires all staff to be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment.
