About the Role
Regal Heights is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Adult Day Health Care Program in Jackson Heights, Queens. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule of 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. with no evening or overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments for new and existing participants
- Develop, review, and update nursing care plans
- Monitor participants’ medical conditions and report significant changes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with physicians, families, managed care plans, therapists, and other providers
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, when applicable
- Participate in person-centered care planning
- Help ensure compliance with program policies and Department of Health requirements
- Complete UAS-NY assessments after receiving the required training and access
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Strong assessment, care-planning, and documentation skills
- Experience in geriatrics, home care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, managed long-term care, or adult day health care preferred
- UAS-NY experience preferred but not required
- Must be willing to complete the required UAS-NY training
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
Schedule
8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., daytime hours only (no evening or overnight shifts).
