REGISTERED NURSE (RN) (ADN or BSN) - Critical Care/ICU

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of assigned patients.
• Supervise and delegate care and tasks to other personnel.
• Coordinate and document care for patients with varying ages from children 12 years through geriatrics.
• Make decisions about changes in patient conditions and communicate these verbally and in writing to the healthcare team.
• Manage critical care patients with multisystem medical problems.
• Respond calmly to emergencies.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• CPR certification or obtained within three months of employment.
• ACLS certification within twelve months of hire and maintain certification per hospital policy.
• ASLS certification within twelve months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.
• One year experience in area applying for preferred.
• Recent experience in Critical Care clinical environments as a registered nurse preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
