About the role

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Two years nursing experience & previous management experience preferred
RN candidates without BSN must be enrolled in BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer & complete program within 3 years of enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
  • Interact with nursing and hospital teammates in daily operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate hospital activities with emphasis upon communications, patient throughput, patient experience, rounding for quality, safety and operational efficiency, performance improvement activities, service recovery, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the administrative designee on behalf of and in cooperation with Administration to investigate or respond to requests for information, follow-up or assistance with complaint investigations or emergency events.
  • Maintain a safe environment and perform all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Pay

$44.15 - $66.25 based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training

Schedule

Part time, 24 hours/week: two 12-hour shifts, one dayshift and one nightshift per week
