About the role

Adults with a wide range of diagnoses including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, and neurological conditions are treated at this facility. The team places a high emphasis on preparing patients for discharge.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.
• Communicate effectively and lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and excellent patient experience.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
