About the role
The Role As an RN on 3 Central Acute General Medicine , you will care for adult patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions. This is a unit where clinical breadth meets supportive structure , allowing you to expand your expertise while working within a highly collaborative care team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adults with conditions including: Endocrine disorders, Infectious diseases, Renal conditions, Select cardiology cases
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, care planning, and clinical interventions in a moderate-to-high acuity setting
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, case managers, and specialists
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and discharge readiness
- Utilize evidence-based practice to guide care decisions and improve outcomes
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
- Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
- Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

- May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease

Pay
The pay range for this role is $39.90 - $53.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
