Responsibilities
- Organize and provide nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions.
- Contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meet the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
- Coordinate lactation education and support within the nursing division.
- NICU RN's in Fargo, ND are required to perform transport via helicopter and Ambulance.
Education Qualifications
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications
- Certification/Licensure Requirements: Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required when moving to level 3 NICU RN.
