About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care, providing direct patient care in a 25‑bed unit with an average nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 4:1.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Promote patient‑ and family‑centered care.
- Educate patients and families on illness management and post‑treatment needs.
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans.
- Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, social workers, therapists, and physicians.
Qualifications & Skills
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current RN license.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Strong critical‑thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work safely and alertly in a fast‑paced environment.
