Responsibilities

• Work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve.
• Provide compassionate, hands-on support that addresses the physical, social, and behavioral needs of each patient.
• Provide professional nursing care, using the nursing process, to patients within the treatment milieu (child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric), according to the Standards of Nursing Practice and Care.
• Assist in patient nursing care to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physiological needs of patients served.
• Administer medications and treatment in accordance with physician orders and established nursing policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew)
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Desire to work in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients of various ages
