About the role
Join our team as an on-call Registered Nurse, providing comprehensive patient care at a community-focused health center.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient visits, discuss chief complaints, obtain vital signs, complete health histories, and document in the EMR system.
- Perform phone triage.
- Auxiliary in diagnostic procedures including IV starts.
- Provide patient education on treatments and medications.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans, coordinate referrals, and provide patient education.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing or current RN license; dual licensure in WA & OR required within 120 days
- BCLS certification within 90 days; ACLS & PALS preferred
- Proficiency in medication concepts, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience with women's health exams and early screening testing is a plus
Skills
- Professional interaction with diverse patient populations
- Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and EMR programs
