Registered Nurse – Regional Resource Float Pool (Weekend Only Nights)

About the Role

Mercy is seeking an experienced and compassionate Regional Resource Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool in the River Valley area, supporting units across Fort Smith, Bonneville, Ozark, Paris, and Waldron locations. This role is ideal for an adaptable RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys caring for a diverse adult/geriatric population. As part of our Regional Resource team, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care while floating between facilities, gaining variety and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent, compassionate nursing care to patients.
• Float to the following clinical areas as needed:
  • Med Surg
  • Orthopedics
  • Cardiac
  • Cardiac Neuro
  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Critical Care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.
• Serve as a resource to unit staff by sharing skills, clinical knowledge, and best practices.
• Adapt quickly to varying workflows, patient needs, and unit requirements.

Requirements

• Current Arkansas RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience, with at least 6 months within the past year.
• BLS certification (must be current).
• ACLS & NIHSS – required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
