Registered Nurse - Recovery Room - PRN

About the role

Provide clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, focusing on patient/family-centered care. Utilize evidence-based practices across all nursing processes—assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes—while ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effective care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments.
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ensure smooth transitions upon discharge.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor care quality.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide education and teaching tailored to patient needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation, advocate for patients, and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Maintain professional licensure, pursue ongoing education, and comply with organizational policies.

Schedule

Variable shifts; may include weekend, holiday, and on-call duties.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• At least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/program completion.
• Current multistate RN license.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
