Registered Nurse - Recovery Room - Full-Time, 0.9

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Recovery team. This role involves delivering age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other levels of employees, while ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision.

This position is full-time, with part-time and per diem opportunities also available. A variety of shifts are offered to align with candidate availability.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates unit-specific skills requisite for the assigned service area.
• Integrates knowledge of expected norms for patient populations served, applying this in planning interventions.
• Meets Copley Hospital standards for telephone etiquette, customer service, comportment, inter- and intra-departmental relations, confidentiality, corporate compliance, patient/provider rights, UOR reporting, QI, and Code of Conduct.
• Develops and maintains human care relationships, integrating the influence of health, illness, and healing.
• Adapts care for diverse populations, assists colleagues with care delivery, and refers concerns to appropriate resources.
• Incorporates teaching into care delivery, assesses barriers to learning, and uses colleagues as learning resources.
• Provides care for patient populations including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Manages self and resources effectively, organizing workload, utilizing supplies appropriately, and requesting assistance as needed.

Requirements

• Active Vermont RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Department-specific competency verification.

Qualifications

• Desired: 2 years of current PACU experience and PALS certification.

Pay

The posted salary range is $32.09–$54.81 per hour, reflecting base compensation for candidates with varying levels of experience. Offers within this range will be based on experience.
