About the Role

The RN Clinical Periop Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Promote a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Support research and evidence-based initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to colleagues.
• Contribute to protocol development.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and safety goals.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Knowledge of clinical standards.
• Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Commitment to professional development.
• Adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
